Miscellaneous Photos
Café Bodega x Because Marquette
For this project I was able to combine a lot of different elements within the product photos. I wanted to get individual product shots of the apparel before incorporating models. This allowed me to play around with the local environment and get to know how the individual pieces photograph. I was able to shoot within the Bodega which allowed me to work with the lighting and ambience the restaurant has to offer. The indoor and outdoor settings showed the kind of lifestyle one might have when wearing the apparel.
Loyaltees
I was given a shirt to shoot with designed by a local Marquette artist and print shop, Loyaltees. The location I decided on was the public library which gave me a good opportunity to use leading lines. I also liked this space because it gave me a chance to play with visual depth and add bokeh into my photos. I wanted to capture a relaxing and mellow space with these product photos.
J+T Wedding
I was given the opportunity to photo a friend's wedding in the fall of 2021. The venue was at a barn surrounded by woods with a nice field where the ceremony took place. My favorite part was photographing the accessories. I was able to come up with some really nice compositions for both the bride and groom's shoes and jewelry. We did a first look and went around the property to a few spots I scoped out beforehand. During the reception I was able to play around with motion blur and capture everyone literally getting down on the dance floor. All in all, it was my first professional time photographing a wedding and I was happy with what I was able to capture and experience.
K+J Pregnancy Announcement
In the fall of 2021, I was asked to take photos for my friend's baby announcement. They wanted to incorporate their pumpkins, baby outfit, and ultrasound photos. We were able to find a few colorful spots that gave us the perfect fall backdrop. The joy and love they both had during this shoot was easy to capture.
Project Sets
Handcrafted Rings in Nature
Within this project I focused on the relationship of handmade rings and nature. I wanted to incorporate handmade rings I own and show the relationship between the colors in the ring and the colors in the outdoor setting that I'd placed them in. Alongside the photo of the ring, I included two photos of the environment the ring was placed in. This showed how the ring and scenery relate, bringing out a noticeable color palette. In addition, I wanted each set to capture a sort of visual branding, almost as if you’re looking at a website that sells handcrafted rings. Enhancing the ring’s uniqueness, making it the key component and main selling point in each photo set.
Raycon's Everyday Earbuds - Promotional Campaign
Raycon strives to deliver premium audio at an affordable price. They also strive to tailor their products to the people, delivering great audio quality and comfort. In this campaign I showcased how their earbuds can be useful throughout everyday life. In addition, showing how Raycon immerses their customers into their music, highlighting the different environments and/or work spaces that people may be using their Raycons.
If you've made it this far... thanks for looking through my work! :)
